The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha Class 12 Results 2022 for the Science and Commerce stream are out today, i.e., July 27, at 4 pm. The results of the Odisha CHSE Plus 2 Arts stream will be declared after a week, as informed by the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
Candidates can check their results on its official websites orissaresults.nic.in and chseodisha.nic.in, or can even download their mark sheets from DigiLocker. Students would require their roll number and registration number to check results.

The CHSE Odisha Board has revealed a ‘sympathetic formula’ that it used to prepare the Class 12 board exam results. In this, the Board considered two categories to allot marks and students were awarded the higher of the two marks. These scores were reassessed for each subject for the benefit of the students.

Combination of 80 per cent marks obtained by the student + 20 per cent marks based on best two performances of the student in quarter-end exams.
The Odisha Class 12 board exams 2022 were conducted with a 60 per cent reduced syllabus, owing to the COVID-19 situation.
Minister Samir Ranjan Dash added, “The Plus 2 syllabus was reduced to 60 per cent owing to the COVID-19 situation and made necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination.”
The overall pass percentage for Odisha CHSE Class 12 Science Results 2022 stands at 94.12%. Girls outperformed the boys with 94.52 per cent and 93.80 per cent, respectively. Of the total students, authorities revealed that almost 50,157 students passed the board exams with the first division, and 1124 students secured more than 90 per cent marks.
This year, the pass percentage has gone down, but the number of students with above 90 per cent marks in the Commerce stream has gone up to 273 from 149 students in 2021.
This year, a total of 3,21,508 students, combined in all the streams, appeared for the CHSE Odisha Plus Two exams, while the number of Science students was 78,077 and those in the Commerce stream were 24,136.
The Odisha Plus 2 exams were held in offline mode this year, between April 28 and May 31 in the morning shift. Candidates require a minimum of 33 per cent marks to pass the CHSE Odisha +2 exams.
The exams were conducted across 1,133 examination centres with three-tier security arrangements, including CCTV surveillance and prohibition of mobile phones. All COVID protocols were followed.
