JEE Main Results 2020: Know When the Results will be Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results of the JEE Main September 2020 exam soon. Once out, students will be able to check the results at the Official Website. As per the official notification, the results will be released today, September 11, 2020.

On 9th September, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the Education Minister of India, posted on Twitter that the process for result declaration has begun and results will be announced soon. “My heartfelt thanks to all the students and parents for reposing trust in the government and participating in the JEE Main exam,” he added.

The JEE Main 2020 was conducted by the National Testing Agency for over 8 lakh students amid COVID-19 pandemic. The safety regulations were strictly abided by the candidates and staff including invigilators, exam supervisors, etc. at the exam centre. Mr RP Nishank thanked the National Testing Agency and the officials for the safe conduct of the examination.

JEE Main candidates were able to challenge the JEE Main Answer Key by paying a processing fee of 200 per question by September 10, 2020, till 5 PM. The answer key and question papers have been made available on the official website of JEE Main. It is only through the official website that the students could raise objections in the answer key.

Steps to Check and Download JEE Main 2020 Results

  • Step 1: Visit the official website to check JEE Main September exam 2020.

  • Step 2: Click on the ‘JEE Main 2020 results’ on the homepage.

  • Step 3: A new window will open on the display screen.

  • Step 4: Enter your credentials and log in.

  • Step 5: Check your results, verify your details such as name, roll no, etc.

  • Step 6: Download the results of JEE Main 2020. Take a few printouts and keep it safely for future references.

As informed by NTA, the JEE Main results will be announced today. The results shall be out anytime soon. Hence, candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2020 exam, held from September 1-6, need to keep a check on the official site for results. Once declared, candidates will be able to download the JEE Main Scorecards from the website. 8.58 lakh applicants had registered for JEE Main out of which 6.3 lakh appeared for the exam.
