Application Date for JEE Main April Exam Extended to March 12

The last date to apply for JEE Main April Exam 2020 is now March 12, 2020. National Testing Agency (NTA), the autonomous body responsible for organizing JEE Main in India has extended the application date till 12th of March. Students who missed applying for JEE Main are hereby informed that they still have the chance to to fill the JEE Main Application Form for April Exam 2020. NTA has also extended the date for form correction facility. Now, the correction window will be open from 13.03.2020 to 16.03.2020 (up to 11.50 PM). Students must note that correction facility is the last chance given to students to correctly furnish all the details, failing to which their candidature can be cancelled at any stage of admission. Hence, students should undertake the correction carefully as no further chance would be given after that.

JEE Main is a national level competitive exam for admission to undergraduate courses in IITs, NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). JEE is the most sought-after entrance test in our country and over lakhs of students apply for the same. The pursuit of the dream to study in the top engineering colleges and build a career in the field of technology finds many students competing for JEE Mains. Students were relieved to find out that the JEE Main exam will be conducted twice a year now. This increases the chances of students clearing the exam in the same year, without wasting another year for preparation. 

The application form for JEE Main 2020 (April Exam) has been postponed from March 6 to March 12. As per the revised date, students will be allowed to submit the application form online till  March 12 (up to 5:00 PM). While students can successfully fill and submit the form until 5:00 PM, the payment of application fee can be made until 11:50 PM of the same date. A large number of students appealed to extend the date as they could not apply for JEE Main. In lieu of the requests made by many students to postpone the last date to apply for the exam, the concerned authority took the decision to change the last date of application. The decision to extend the deadline for filing the form has been taken by NTA to ensure that the maximum number of aspiring candidates get an opportunity to appear for the exam, without which admission to premier engineering institutes in India would not be possible.
