The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the 2022-23 timetable for Classes 10 & 12. According to the schedule, the first term will be completed by October 19, and Diwali break will start on October 20. It will be a 21-day break.
The final exam or term two will be conducted between March 14, 2023, and March 31, 2023.
In the current academic year, schools will be conducting 241 days of teaching. The first term, which began on June 13, will have a span of 104 days with a conclusion with exams in October. A total of 137 days are fixed for term 2, which will start on November 10, 2022, and end on April 30, 2023.
The preliminary exams for Class 9 to Class 12 will be conducted between January 27, 2023, and February 4, 2023. The Scholarship exams for Class 9 will be conducted on February 7, 2023. Schools have to complete the internal exams by February 15, 2023, and practical exams between February 20, 2023, and February 28, 2023. The final exams for Class 9 and Class 11 will be conducted between April 10, 2023, and April 21, 2023.
Secondary schools will practice summer holidays between May 1, 2023, and June 4, 2023. The next academic session, 2023-24 is expected to begin on June 5, 2023. A total of 80 holidays have been fixed for the upcoming session.
