The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct CUET 2022 for the students whose exams were cancelled between August 24 and August 28. The officials confirmed the new date on Sunday. The testing agency is also taking measures to conduct the remaining tests smoothly.
NTA is now sending question papers early to the centres, keeping backup servers ready, deploying officials for the centres to provide on-ground assistance to the candidates, and setting up a grievance redressal email ID.
According to the NTA statement, the situation at centres where exams were cancelled is reviewed and there are few centres that failed to comply with the laid down protocols. Any incidence of non-compliance/sabotage/ignorance will be viewed very seriously and action will be taken against such centres.
The changes came into the effect after the cancellation of CUET-UG exams at various centres between August 4 and August 6. On August 4, 489 centres were affected, while 50 and 53 centres witnessed the cancellation on August 5 and August 6, respectively. More than 50,000 students are affected due to technical glitches whose exams will be conducted between August 24 and August 28.
