CBSE has written to Kerala, Tamil Nadu Board, and ICSE to extend the admission process for the upcoming academic year. As CBSE will be able to declare the Class 12 results by the third week of July, the students seeking admission based on the final results will face difficulty. To ease down the process, the request to shift the admission process has been raised.

Even institutes like Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom, the University of Queensland in Australia, Lasalle College of Arts in Singapore, and the University of Western Australia have been informed of the schedule of CBSE.

Most state boards have declared their results aside from CBSE, leading to worry among CBSE students. To ease the stress on students, CBSE approached UGC, which released an advisory to institutions on July 13, requesting to adjust the admission process according to the CBSE results declaration.
