The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important changes to the Class 12 Board Examinations for the 2023-24 academic year, particularly for commerce stream students. The Board has discontinued the use of answer sheets with printed tables for the subject of Accountancy. From now on, the answer sheets for Class 12 Accountancy exams will be the same as those for other subjects.
In addition, CBSE has extended the deadline for registration for the CBSE Class 9 and 11 Examinations scheduled for 2024. Eligible candidates can now apply for the CBSE Class 9 and 11 board exams on the official website, cbse.gov.in.
Step 1: Go to the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal at pariksha sangam.cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Log in to the portal using your school's affiliation number and password. If your school does not have an account, create one on the portal.
Step 3: Fill out the registration form, including your name, date of birth, gender, address, and the subjects you want to register for.
Step 4: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photo, signature, and school identity card.
Step 5: Submit the registration form.
You can register without a late fee until October 25, 2023. If you register between October 26 and October 29, you will need to pay a late fee.
These changes are significant for all CBSE students and schools. The discontinuation of printed tables in the Accountancy answer sheet is a welcome change, as it will align the examination process for this subject with other subjects. The extension of the registration deadline for Class 9 and 11 board exams is also helpful, as it gives students and schools more time to complete the registration process.
