Check Important Instructions For Class 10th & 12th Board Exams 2023

CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams are beginning tomorrow, and students are in the last phase of their preparation. CBSE will be conducting the Class 10 painting and Class 12 Entrepreneurship exams at all the designated centres. So, before entering the exam hall tomorrow, here are some important instructions by CBSE that every student should pay attention to.

CBSE Board Exams 2023: Important Instructions

  • Students should arrive at the examination hall 30 mins prior to the official time. The official reporting time is 9:30 AM.

  • At 10:00 AM, the Examination Centers' gates would close, and students would not be permitted to enter after that.

  • Admit cards that are not signed will not be taken into consideration, and the student can be stopped at the gate. Students must have their CBSE Roll Number properly signed together with their school identity card or any other official Photo ID card.

  • The CBSE Date Sheet and the student admit cards both include the examination's start time.

  • The 10:30 AM board exam lasts until 12:30 or 1:30 PM (depending on the subject). The time allotted to students with special needs is extended.

  • Parents must read the CBSE Circular for the CWSN in order to be informed of the different amenities, including computers and scribes, and to make requests if necessary.

  • Only the answer sheet and the question paper are provided at the centre. Therefore students must bring their own pens and coloured pencils as needed for each subject.

  • Students with special medical needs, such as diabetics, are permitted to bring small food packet and their medication to the centres.


The CBSE admit card also includes a list of items that are permitted and prohibited in the exam hall. Pens, water bottles, clear clipboards, little bottles of hand sanitizer, and masks are among the permitted goods. Any electronic gadgets like digital wristbands and smart watches are prohibited.
