Mode of Examination
Examinations for all the sittings of JEE Main Paper 1 are conducted in Computer-Based Training (CBT) mode. For Paper 2, a part of this exam follows the CBT mode, and the rest is in offline mode. The JEE Main 2024 followed this mode.

Tentative Counselling Dates for JEE Main

JoSAA conducts the counselling process for admission to various B.Tech/B.Arch courses in Indian institutes. CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) conducts two additional rounds, whereby it allots the remaining seats of UTs, and regions in the Northeast along with the other 17 SFTIs participating in the counselling procedure. Also, as mentioned above, these are predicted dates as per counselling conducted in previous years.
