JEE Main Admit card or Hall Ticket and List of Exam Centres 2023
The JEE exams 2023 are being conducted in 501 cities in India and 22 cities abroad. The exam centres will take care of a fair approach while conducting the exam of JEE main.
The students will get to know about their exam centres for JEE Main 2023 one week before the exam. They are advised to go and visit their exam centres one day before the exam to avoid the chaos of finding their exam centres on the exam day. The exam centres are allotted to each student as per the organisation's direction.
How to Download JEE Main Admit Card 2023?
Candidates have to log in to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in to download the admit card. The main steps to download an admit card are as follows:
Log on to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. On the left-hand side, you will notice a section that says Current Events. Under that, you will find the link that says “Download JEE Main Admit Card 2023”. Click on it.
You will now see 2 options to sign in. One requires your Application Number and the Password. Another involves putting in an Application Number and Date of Birth (DOB).
Note that only pre-registered candidates can sign in using the password option. If you are not pre-registered, you will need to sign in using the application number and your DOB.
Once you are signed in, you will see the link to download the JEE Main admit card.
Ensure that you check all the details that are present on the card and that they are completely correct.
If there are any discrepancies and/or mistakes, contact NTA immediately.
Once you have downloaded your admit card, print it and make a photocopy of it for later use.
Students can use Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome to download their hall ticket.

Did You Forget Your JEE Main 2023 Application Number and/or Password?
Often, candidates end up losing or misplacing their application numbers and the associated passwords. In case it happens with you as well, you can follow these steps to recover them with minimum fuss.
Click on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in immediately.
There is a section that says, “I cannot access my account.” Click on that.
You will now find two options: “Forgot my application number” and “Forgot my password.”
Click on the option which is suitable for you. You will then notice the following sub-options.
Use the security question. Your answer must match the one you gave during the registration process accurately.
The second method involves requesting the website to send a verification code by SMS to your mobile phone.
There is a ‘reset’ link on the page as well. If nothing works, click on reset, and a link will be sent to your registered email ID.
Click on that and access will be restored.
Once you click on any of the links mentioned above, a new page will open with the option “Continue.” Click on it.
You will then be redirected to another page where you will have to refill all the details that you had input earlier.

JEE Main Admit Card and Other Essential Documents to Carry in Exam Centre
Here is the list of essential documents that are required to enter JEE Main 2023 examination room:
A printed copy and a photocopy of the original JEE Main admit card.
One passport-sized photograph. It has to be affixed on the attendance sheet at the exam centre. Note that this photo should be identical to the one you uploaded during the application process. Otherwise, you will not be allowed inside the venue.
An undertaking or self-declaration downloaded from NTA’s official website in view of COVID- 19.
Candidates who are physically disabled (People with Disabilities or PwD) must show a copy of PwD certificate to the venue coordinator.
Candidates also require a valid ID for reasons of safety. Multiple Identification certificates can be carried, although only one is required. Valid IDs include PAN card/voter ID card/passport/Aadhaar card with photograph/Aadhaar enrolment number (if the card has not been made available yet)/ration card/driving licence.
Note: All ID cards/certificates must be updated.
JEE Main Admit Card 2023- Rules and Guidelines to Follow
Given below are the important guidelines given by NTA in the Admit card. These guidelines and rules are crucial for a candidate to conduct themselves during the examination.
No candidate can carry any pen or pencil inside the examination hall or room.
No candidate can wear a wristwatch or any other device that displays the time. There will be a clock inside the exam hall. That is the time candidates must refer to.
No candidate can carry any mobile phones, pagers, Log tables, copybooks, text or reference books, a paper of any manner, and any other item which may help them during the test.
If anyone is caught breaching any of these rules, he or she will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centres before the scheduled time. This is mandatory as they will go under a security check which demands time. Also, to avoid the last-minute rush, the students must reach their examination centres early.
Along with the JEE Main admit card, the students must also present valid ID proofs. Valid ID proofs can be -

Driving Licence
Rough sheets will be provided to the students in the exam hall; thus they are strictly advised not to bring any sheets.
Candidates must sit in their allocated seats.
No electronic devices like mobile phones, or pagers will be allowed inside the exam hall.
Students cannot enter or leave the exam hall before the pre-scheduled time.
Students must check the admit card beforehand and identify where the exam centre lies. They can then reach the venue on time on the day of the examination.
Students must reach the venue well in advance. That will assist in checking the seating arrangements.
Once the exam starts, students will not be allowed to enter the room under any situation.
Students must carry the original JEE main admit card 2023. Without that, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
When the candidate has been caught with unwanted electronic devices.
Anyone found talking during the exam’s duration will be disbarred and have results withheld.
Anyone found disturbing others inside the venue will have his or her results withheld.

Special Assistance to Diabetic Candidates
NTA has allowed Diabetic Candidates to bring eatables to the examination hall. The permit is added to ensure the diabetic candidates are not facing health issues while attempting the examination.

Fruits such as bananas, apples, or oranges
Transparent water bottle
Sugar tablets as per doctor’s prescription

NTA’s Advisory for Ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic
For JEE Main 2023 examination, NTA has released advisory for COVID-19. Candidates are supposed to carry only the below-mentioned items into the venue:
Admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
A simple transparent Ball Point Pen(Blue/Black).
Additional photograph that to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml) in a transparent container.
The JEE Main 2023 Admit Card is a very important document that each and every candidate must keep with them on the date of the JEE Main exam.
