JEE Main 2023 29 January Shift 1 and 2 - Question Paper Analysis

It can be concluded from both student records and expert analyses that both shifts on 29 January were comparable and almost similar in difficulty and style.

In both shifts, Chemistry was the most accessible section, with Organic Chemistry carrying maximum weightage. Maths was lengthy and the most difficult, with Vectors, Integration and 3D as the major marks-carrying areas. Physics was moderately tricky with formula-based questions, and Modern Physics was the topic from which most of the questions were asked in this section.

Questions mainly were NCERT-based, and students who had prepared well from the textbooks could solve most of the questions without much difficulty.
