JEE Main 2023 25 January Shift 1 and 2 - Question Paper Analysis

It can be concluded from both student records and expert analyses that both shifts on 25 January were comparable and almost similar in difficulty and style.


In both shifts, Chemistry was the easiest section, with Organic Chemistry carrying maximum weightage. Maths was lengthy and the most difficult with Vectors, Integration and 3D as the major marks carrying areas. Physics was moderately difficult with formula-based questions and Modern Physics was the topics from which most of the questions were asked in this section.


Questions were mostly NCERT-based and students who had prepared well from the textbooks could solve most of the questions without much difficulty.
