JEE Main 2013 Overview
JEE Main 2013 was conducted by CBSE in both online and offline mode. The offline mode was conducted on April 7, 2013. More than 14 lakhs students appeared for the exam. The exam was of 3 hours duration. There were 3 parts in the Question Paper (A, B, and C), consisting of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A total of 30 MCQ based questions with equal weightage were asked in each section of JEE Main exam 2013. Candidates were awarded 4 marks for each correct response and ¼ mark was deducted for each incorrect response. No response to any question means no deduction of marks.

JEE Main 2013 Subject-Wise Difficulty Level Analysis
According to the students' feedback, the overall difficulty level of Chemistry was easier than the Physics and Mathematics section. There were both factual and calculation based questions.
The overall difficulty level of Physics was tough. There were lengthy calculation based questions in this section.
