About JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)

The Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main), formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is a computer-based exam used in India for admission to several technical undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning. The National Testing Agency is in charge of the examination (NTA). The JEE-Main rank is used to determine admission to major technical universities such as the National Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Information Technology for B.Tech, B.Arch, and other degrees.

JEE Mains Important Dates 2022

The admit card for the June session of JEE Mains exam dates 2022 will be on the second of June. For the June session, the exams will be held on the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th of June 2022 and the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th of July 2022 for the July Session.


Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the JEE Main national test. It is an engineering entrance exam for engineering aspirants held across India. Candidates who pass this test are admitted to prominent engineering colleges such as IITs, NITs, CFTIs, and others for B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Arch/ B.Plan programs.


This admission test is now held twice, in the months of June and July, as a result of the recent revisions. Separate papers for Paper 1 (B.Tech/B.E) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be held.


JEE Main is a standardised examination given in India's several states. The test is held at the undergraduate level and is used to give admission to some of the top engineering and technical schools in the country, whether they are government-funded or privately run.


JEE Main 2022 is held for three groups of candidates:

  • Paper 1 is for students interested in pursuing a B.E. or B. Tech. degree.

  • Paper 2A is for students interested in pursuing a B. Arch. degree.

  • Paper 2B is for students interested in pursuing a B. Planning degree.

  • JEE Main 2022 will be held in two sessions, one in June and the other in July.

JEE main questions are generally NCERT based, however, it is known to throw in a few hard questions to test the candidate's conceptual knowledge and analytical ability.


Application Form Dates for JEE Main 2022

Online mode is used to fill out the application form. There isn't any offline source to fill out the application form. Candidates must provide a scanned copy of a passport-size photo, a valid signature, and a signature that looks similar to the one used at the time of the exam.


The application form filling process for the June session started on March 1, 2022, and registration for the July session will be announced soon.


The entire online registration process may include several phases, including online registration, online application filling, online image uploading, application fee payment, and application printing.

Only the official web page will be used to provide the JEE Main admit card 2022. By entering their application number and date of birth on the official website, candidates will be able to get their JEE Main 2022 admit card. Candidates should be aware that the JEE Main 2022 admit card will include vital information such as the candidate's personal information, exam date, time, and location.

JEE Advanced 2022

JEE Advanced Exam Date 2022 - The JEE Advanced exam date for 2022 has been updated by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). The JEE Advanced 2022 test will be held on August 28 by the exam body. On August 7, the application form for JEE Advanced 2022 will be available.


JEE Advanced (formerly IIT JEE) is the second stage of the JEE exam, which takes place after the JEE Main exam. For engineering students, it is a vital test (especially for those who are seeking admission to premier engineering institutes such as IITs). The JEE Advanced test is a computer-based exam that is rotated among seven Indian IITs (IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIT Guwahati).


The JEE Advanced 2022 entrance exam will be held in two shifts: morning and evening, at all test centres. The admit card for JEE Advanced 2022 will be given on August 23 for registered students. 1. Is it necessary for an applicant to fill out a different Application Form for each session?

No, each candidate must fill out a single Application Form for each session. There will only be one Application Form if he/ she fills it out now. If he fills out the application now (for a few sessions) and later decides to fill out the application for the remaining sessions, he will be presented with the identical Application Form.

2. What is the minimum age to take JEE Main?

There are no age restrictions for individuals who wish to sit for the test. Candidates who passed their 12th (Intermediate) or equivalent in 2020, 2021, or who are scheduled to sit for the exam in 2022 are eligible to apply.

3. What kinds of questions do you get in the JEE Main exam?

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions will be included in JEE Main 2022. The drawing portion will include questions that will put students' drawing and sketching abilities to the test.
