Section 1 (Max Marks: 12):

  • Section 1 of the JEE Advanced Question Paper contains 4 questions.

  • There will be 4 options for each question and only 1 of these four will be the correct answer.

  • Select the option that corresponds to the correct response for each question.

 

Marking scheme:

The marking scheme for this section is given below.

  • Full Marks: +3 (If the answer is correct)

  • Zero Marks: 0 (If the question is unanswered)

  • Negative Marks: -1 (In all other cases)

 

Section 2 (Max Marks: 32)

  • Section 2 of the JEE Advanced Question Paper contains 8 questions.

  • There will be 4 options for each question and 1 or more than 1 of these 4 will be the correct answer.

  • Select the option(s) that corresponds to the correct response for each question.

The marking scheme for this section is given below.

  • Full Marks: +4 (If the answer is correct)

  • Partial Marks: +3 (If all the 4 options are correct but only 3 are chosen)

  • Partial Marks: +2 (If 3 or More options are correct but only 2 correct answers are chosen)

  • Partial Marks: +1 (If 2 or More options are correct but only 1 correct answer is chosen)

  • Zero Marks: 0 (If the question is unanswered)

  • There are 6 questions in this section. Each question has a numerical value as the answer.

JEE Advanced 2019 Question Paper Analysis of Chemistry Section

The analysis of the question paper of Chemistry of JEE Advanced 2019 is as follows.

  • In the Chemistry section, there was a balance of questions between Inorganic and Organic Chemistry. On the other hand, there were fewer questions from Physical Chemistry.

  • In both paper 1 and paper 2, the Chemistry section was the easiest. 

  • The questions were primarily intended to assess the candidates' conceptual understanding.

The analysis of the question paper on Physics of JEE Advanced 2019 is as follows.

  • The majority of the questions came from Thermodynamics, Optics, and Thermodynamics, as well as Electrostatics.

  • The Physics questions in papers 1 and 2 were moderately difficult but lengthy. 

  • In both papers' Physics sections, there were questions based on calculations that were both conceptual and applied.

  • The difficulty level of questions in the Mathematics section of papers 1 and 2 were considered moderate to difficult.

  • The questions took a little longer to answer, and attempting all of them was a difficult task. 

  • Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Quadratic Equations, Sequence and Series, and Integral Calculus were the most common topics from where the majority of questions were asked.
