The Following are a Few Observations Regarding the Performance of Candidates in JEE-2012:
A candidate with the highest aggregate marks in JEE-2012 received 385, representing 96.0 percent of 401 marks.
Only 27 candidates received more than 350 marks. 275 candidates received more than 300 marks.
The last ranked candidate on the Common Merit List (CML) received a score of 141. This was the overall cut-off for CML.
The max marks scored for 136 in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths were 133, 132, and 132.
The number of students who got more than 120 in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths were 31, 17, and 38, respectively.
The min marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics by candidates in CML were 14, 14, and 14, respectively. In fact, despite having high aggregate marks, several candidates performed quite poorly in a particular subject.
