The deep red colour of the dish comes from a special type of chilli, the Mathania red chilli, which comes from Jodhpur. 2. Pork Vindaloo

Originating from Goa, this dish is one of the famous spicy food items. This food is the result of Portuguese influence in this country. Due to Portuguese influence in Goa, Indians learned how to prepare pork vindaloo by using traditional pork and vinegar. Though you can try this recipe with chicken or lamb, pork has always been the first choice for this dish.


This one of the famous spicy food items is made of garlic, vinegar, pork fat, Kashmiri chilli and jaggery. It is mainly a dry sauce-based dish that you can make by mixing all the ingredients mentioned above. But any vindaloo dishes taste better if you store them. 3. Chicken Chettinad

This is one of those spicy dishes that originated in Tamil Nadu. By mixing some spices, this dish has become one of the most delicious dishes of all time. We all know that South India is famous for its spices, which is why mixing the necessary spices into this dish becomes essential.


This is one of those spicy food recipes made with freshly ground masalas. You can top the dish with a boiled egg as it is quite a common ingredient that is an essential part of a meal. Instead of using chicken, you can make the same dish with lobster, crab, prawn or fish.


4. Spicy Jalapeno and Bacon Flatbread
